Kutti Beach House
The Kutti Beach House is a singular, undulating sculpture that white chalks itself through the narrow steepness of the site and releases outward to encapsulating views over Kutti Beach on Sydney Harbour. With layers of garden spaces, vantage points, and the interplay between verticality and horizontality of volume, the house draws on Mediterranean cues to create a procession of moments that celebrate the topography, the outlook and the haptic sense.
Our team joined the project after an approved DA with a distinctive Durbach Block Jaggers proposal. As such, we saw this as an opportunity to embrace these conceptual foundations, while bringing forward our refined sensibility of approach towards design and polished articulation of materials.
Crescent House is now being submitted for a Section 96 application.
